Tom is the Owner/Brand Ambassador for TAG Publicity, working with a broad scope of artists across all music genres, assisting in press, networking, and developing; creating strategies. TAG Publicity has over 30 years of shared experience in utilizing and providing dynamic publicity, project management, and networking opportunities.

Tom became interested in music at an early age when his father would play and sing Peter Paul & Mary's "Puff The Magic Dragon" and Bob Dylan's "Blowin' In The Wind", amongst other songs on his nylon string Martin acoustic guitar. Tom's defining moment came in 1988 when he first saw Aerosmith's "Rag Doll" music video on MTV. In the video, Joe Perry sits on a chair in the middle of historic Bourbon Street in New Orleans with his foot up on an amp playing an amazing slide guitar solo. Tom thought it was one of the coolest things he had ever seen, and he was hooked from that moment on. Tom went on to learn how to play guitar in his pursuit of becoming a Rock Star. He played in various bands growing up, the most notable being a band heavily influenced by Static-X called Ritual Fixx. Tom's sister Angie played in the band with him, and they did many shows in Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

When Tom's dream of being a Rock Star didn't pan out, he still wanted to work in the industry and promote music. Having had some experience with music publicity from managing bands, Tom decided to dive into music PR head first. Since then Tom has gone on to work hundreds of successful campaigns with artists at all levels!
