Hunter first entered the music industry as a promoter around New Orleans, LA, and soon after filled the role of talent buyer for a local venue. He remains very active in supporting the local Gulf Coast Rock & Metal scene, having previously being a performer for a local metal band.

After being exposed to "the bad side of the industry", Hunter decided to launch Fuel the Funeral Entertainment as an Artist Development and Booking Agency in 2022, as his way to fight back and work directly with artists across the country. Hunter has also signed on with MVK Music Group as one of their Booking Agents, where his background in Hard Rock, Alternative and Metal will help assist booking for their roster of artists.
